After replacing Totally Certified in the release calendar last year, 2019-20 Panini Certified Basketball returns again this year with a lot of familiar card sets in tow. The main focus for collectors will undoubtedly be anything of Zion Williamson especially his on-card Rookie Roll Call Autographs. But there is still more to this set than just Zion-mania with plenty of other notable 2019 NBA Rookies such as Ja Morant, RJ Barrat, Coby White, Rui Hachimura, Darius Garland and more all present in this release.
Other notable sets to look out for include the on-card Ballot Busters Autographs featuring NBA Hall of Famers, Legendary Signatures showcasing retired greats, Certified Signatures including present and future NBA stars. The Freshman Fabric Signature rookie jersey/patch autographs will fall one per box which will help make 2019-20 Panini Certified Basketball a relatively good low-end product.
Some of the key inserts include Gold Team, Record Breakers and Raise the Banner which will all come in a variety of print runs all the way down to the 1/1 Mirror Black variant. The Rookie Graffiti set is back again and is sure to be a favorite again due to it’s artistic design and holo surface.
Certified has proven itself as a good value for money product that has the potential to produce some highly desirable hits. The addition of a Freshman Fabrics Jersey/Patch Auto into each box is a smart addition by Panini and will ensure that this product is well received.
