It’s February and that means Super Bowl! I have the best of both worlds with my home town San Francisco 49ers playing the Kansas City Chiefs in my current city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Just in time for the Big Game, 2023 Panini Rookies & Stars Football Hobby Box will drop on February 7, 2024. Panini will be delivering a solid mid-tier product that will get us chasing C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Will Levis and many more. The anticipation surrounding this release is heightened as collectors anticipate the inclusion of many of the top 2023 rookies (minus a few QB signatures because of their deals with Fanatics). 2023 Panini Rookies & Stars Football is not one to miss!
2023 Panini Flawless Baseball Hobby Box (Release Date: February 7, 2024)
It’s February and that means the start of Major League Baseball’s Spring Training! Baseball enthusiasts can rejoice as the 2023 Panini Flawless Baseball Hobby Box is scheduled for release on February 7, 2024, but be prepared to open that wallet. This year’s Flawless product won’t come cheap as it is priced around $2000 per hobby box.
Known for its premium quality and limited edition cards, the Flawless series has become a coveted choice among collectors. I was fortunate to be a part of a few 2023 Panini Flawless Baseball card breaks last season where I managed to get a few autos of my favorite San Francisco Giants: Randy Johnson, Orlando Cepeda and Mike Yastrzemski. Expect to see much of the same card series from previous Flawless Baseball checklists such as Dual Signature Autographs, Patches, a Bat Knob, and a few autos from some of the baseball greats of the past.
2023-24 Panini Prizm Premier League Soccer Hobby Box (Release Date: February 7, 2024)
Football (or soccer as we call it in the USA) season is in full swing and soccer fans (especially those that enjoy the play of the Premier League) are in for a treat with the release of the 2023-24 Panini Prizm Premier League Soccer Hobby Box on February 7, 2024. The Prizm product line for the Premier League isn’t one to miss. With 12 packs per hobby box and 12 cards per pack, a collector will get on average 1 autographed card, 4 base Silver Prizms, 5 numbered base Prizms, 8 additional base Prizms and 6 various insert cards or parallels.
2023 Topps Luminaries Baseball Hobby Box (Release Date: February 7, 2024)
Only days away before MLB Pitchers and Catchers report to their Spring Training camp in Florida or Arizona, Topps is releasing the 2023 Topps Luminaries Baseball Hobby Box on February 7, 2024. Priced around $390 USD per hobby box, you’ll get 1 pack per box with 1 card in it. Wow! Expect that one card to be an encased autograph or autographed relic numbered to 15 or less. Do you feel lucky?

We’re at the mid-point of the NBA season and basketball fans can mark February 14, 2024 on their calendars as the release date for the 2023-24 Panini Prizm Basketball Hobby Box and Victor Wembanyama’s first Prizm cards. Known for its vibrant designs and sought-after rookie cards, the Prizm Basketball series has become a staple in the basketball card collecting community. It’s safe to say that the talented Wembanyama has been dictating the pricing of 2023-24 Basketball Card Hobby Box Prices and the 2023-24 Panini Prizm Basketball Hobby Box is no exception. The hobby box will have 2 autographs (on average) with 22 Prizms and 10 insert found in 12 packs per box and 12 cards per pack. As of this writing, the hobby box is priced around $1000 USD.

Yes! NASCAR! While I enjoy F1 cars for their sleek look, deafening speed and multi-million dollar engines. I really have an attachment to NASCAR because I have a belief that I can take my stock car, throw in a few upgrades and I’m racing with these guys and gals at the Daytona 500. I kid. I kid. NASCAR is a hard sport and the athleticism required to run a 500 mile race is something that only gifted racers can achieve. With that said, let’s start the 2024 NASCAR season the Chase for the Cup with the release of the 2023 Panini Prizm Racing Hobby Box on February 16, 2024. The Prizm Racing series is celebrated for its high-quality cards and vibrant designs, capturing the essence of the fast-paced world of motorsports. As collectors anticipate cards featuring iconic drivers and moments from the racing world, the release date looms as a significant event for racing card enthusiasts.
2023 Panini Impeccable Football Hobby Box (Release Date: February 23, 2024)
One of the higher end NFL Football releases will drop on February 23, 2024 with the release of the 2023 Panini Impeccable Football Hobby Box. The market price for this hobby box is floating around $2000 USD, and unfortunately there’s no discount if you buy the entire 2023 Panini Impeccable Football Hobby 3-Box Case at $6000/case USD. Each hobby box contains 1 pack with 8 cards per pack. That’s roughly $250/card USD. Yikes! The box configuration says that you can hit 2, 3 or 4 cards. If you’re opening up your bank account for Impeccable, let’s hope you get 4-auto box.
2024 Topps Chrome UFC Hobby Box (Release Date: February 23, 2024)
February 23, 2024 marks the return of the UFC to Topps with the release of 2024 Topps Chrome UFC Hobby Box. I am so excited! Previously UFC cards were manufactured by Topps from 2009-2020, but went over to Panini from 2021-2023. Topps Chrome, known for its glossy and visually striking cards, is the perfect fit for capturing the intensity and athleticism of UFC. While the checklist is not out as of this writing, I would assume previously recognized 2023 rookies such as Bo Nickal and Alex Pereira will get the same rookie designation under the Topps brand.
