As one of the only hobby products released each year that focuses heavily on parallels instead of autos, 2019-20 Panini Revolution Basketball will once again follow in the same vein. The main aim for this release is undoubtedly the Galactic parallels and the most sought after are the rookie variations. These typically fall at one per case, very occasionally two, making them extremely short printed. It is believed they have a limited to around 5 of each player but Panini has never confirmed this. But noting that the other number parallels include Impact #’d/149, Cosmic #’d/100, Sunburst #’d/75, Cubic #’d/50 and Lava #’d/10 it’s a fairly safe estimate.
Beyond these parallels there are still autos which fall at six (6) per case (16 boxes) on average. This equates to 3 per inner case (8 boxes) approximately and are all on-card. The standard versions are not numbered but they do also feature the Infinite parallel #’d/25 and the Kaleido parallel which is a 1/1.
2019-20 Panini Revolution Basketball releases on the 17th January 2020 and will no doubt see collectors chasing down any and all variation of Zion Williamson and Ja Morant. But don’t forget the other 2019 NBA Rookies including Tyler Herro, RJ Barrett, Darius Garland, de’Andre Hunter, Coby White, Rui Hachimura, Jarret Culver, Jaxson Hayes and more. Each box has a suggested retail price of $75USD.
