Another staple in the Panini Basketball line-up is set to return with 2019-20 Panini Abolsute Basketball hitting shelves on the 29th November 2019. This year sees the retirement of the divisive uncirculated cards and a return to the more traditional format for the product. Each case will contain 10 boxes, each box has 2 packs, and each pack has 1 Autograph and 1 Memorabilia card each. The Case Hit Glass cards have been retained and will feature 25 of the NBAs biggest stars and Rookies.
The most sought after cards in this release are still the Tools of the Trade Rookie Patch Autographs as well as the on-card Rookie Autograph set featuring 5 different levels of varied rarity down to 1 of 1. The Tools of the Trade set will include either three, four or six swatches of memorabilia also in 5 different levels of rarity. Returning for the first time since the 205-16 release is the Jumbo Memorabilia set which will include unique items such a team logos and ball pieces.
2019-20 Panini Absolute Basketball is a lower end product with a lot of potential due to the Tools of the Trade Rookie Patch Autographs, the on-card Rookie Autographs, as well as the ever popular case hit Glass inserts. But almost every product this year will be popular due to Zion Williamson, not to mention RJ Barrett, Ja Morant, Darius Garland, Tyler Herro, Coby White, Rui Hachimura, De’Andre Hunter, Cam Reddish and the rest of the highly anticipated 2019 NBA Rookie class.
