2018-19 Donruss Basketball General Information

It wouldn’t be the start of a new season without the inevitable release of 2018-19 Donruss Basketball! This years release sees a few key changes to the product configuration with cases being reduced in size to 10 boxes, 10 packs and 30 cards per pack (3,000 cards per case) compared to 20 boxes, 24 packs and 12 cards per pack (5,760 cards per case), as well as the addition of some notable card sets. Firstly is the rare Charles Barkley Short Print (SP) cards which will fall less than one per case on average, as well as the autographed memorabilia cards being expanded to include veterans and retired legends alongside the rookie set.

Undoubtedly though the most sought after cards from this release are the Next Day Autographs featuring the first on card autos of the 2018 NBA Rookie Class in their team uniforms. These cards feature photos taken on the first day of the rookie photo shoot, then overnight the cards are produced, returned to the players and signed the very next day. As a result they have become a perennial favourite of the collecting community and command a solid price on the secondary market.
